Below are audio interviews of miners and others who were residents of the Bon Air Mountain communities during the period the mines were in operation.  The interviews were conducted by Betty Huehls as part of the research she did for her Master's thesis in history at Tennessee Tech University.  The thesis is now the definitive history of the people, communities and mining companies that operated on Bon Air Mountain.
